Glenna develops hand made prints through printing processes such as Mylar transfers, stencils, collagraphs, Pochoir prints, stamps, linoleum cuts, monoprints, monotypes, and photo etching. Sometimes creating inkless prints or embossing on hand-made paper created at River Oaks Studio. These printing methods and processes are also included as part of several alternative and traditional bookbinding processes. Glenna uses mediums and printing techniques reflecting symbolic and lighthearted statements about people, feelings, places and attitudes.
Since 1992, Glenna has worked tirelessly to integrate fine arts and alternative learning styles on a local level in her hometown of Eufaula, Oklahoma, through the creation of Eufaula Summer Arts. These efforts bring ethnically diverse Teaching Artists to mentor their talents with a wide rage of socioeconomic and culturally diverse students of all ages and abilities. In 2001 these efforts developed into the creation of Eufaula Area Arts Council, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable organization for the arts www.eufaulaareaarts.org.
