This exhibition is an opportunity to showcase your work. Our  second venue will be held at The Walkers' Gallery in the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E Hopkins Street, San Marcos, 78666, July 6 to August 28, 2009. Every member will have the opportunity to exhibit three pieces. You may want to choose pieces that characterize your style and that showcase your voice as an artist.

 

There will be a $3 fee for each piece submitted (to cover reception costs). WPA will pay the $3 fee for the first piece and each participant will pay $3 each for the second and third pieces.

 

Open to all existing, new, or renewing members. Yes, if you were not able to participate in the first venue, you now have the opportunity to participate in the second and third venues; fee $25 ($15 if volunteer).

 

Participant Information

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

• Online signup using the WPA website (see steps 1 & 2 in "How do I sign up" below)
• Sign up by June 24
• Pay fee & drop off work
  • Drop Off Date for 2nd venue is June 26, 2009 between 5pm to 8pm

• If you are unable to make the date for the drop-off,  please contact the Showcase Chair, Jo Lagattuta to make arrangements. I am being flexible with participants (please don't push the envelope too far!) since this is getting out at a late date and we have space for about 80 pieces at this venue. Our "Blue" trade will also be exhibited at the same time.
• Pick up work after final exhibition.
  • Date and time to be announced.
  • You must pick up your work or make necessary arrangements. Work not picked up will be placed in the WPA storage unit. WPA is not responsible for lost or damaged work after pick-up.

FEES & OBLIGATIONS

See entry fee and volunteer discount information in the Details box on the right of this page. Membership dues are added for new and renewing members.

• All work must be submitted through the website before it is dropped off with registrar.
• Participating artists are highly encouraged to attend the opening reception. You are also encouraged to contribute a bottle of wine for the reception. Due to health dept regulations we are not allowed to contribute food. However, all food is being prepared on site by the gallery.
• WPA takes a 10% commission on all work sold during the exhibition.
• The Walkers' Gallery takes 20% commission.

How do I submit my work?

Members:
