Monoprints are often called painterly prints, as the print is made by applying/painting ink to a plexiglass plate and then transferring the image to a piece of paper.
This class will provide two hours of fun with this technique. It is not a process that needs expensive materials or even a press. We will be using household items such as a rolling pins to transfer our images.
This 2 hour workshop is geared toward those interested in the printmaking process and all beginners are welcome. All materials will be provided…just come and plan to have fun with ink and paper. Everyone will go home with at least two or three prints and a better understanding of printmaking in general.
Looking to have an enjoyable couple of hours one Saturday afternoon while learning a bit more about printmaking in general, then this workshop may be what you are looking for.

Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting ink on. The ink we will be using is water based and should not stain clothing, however Bone Black Studio is not responsible for any staining that may occur.
